Find you some Golden Eagle and make these this weekend. Full of protein and oh so yummy.
I'm telling you the truth, you can't go wrong with a recipe that has this duo:
Yummy--Yummy!!
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup Golden Eagle Syrup
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 6 cups corn flakes (could even make half of this bran flakes for more whole grain)
- just a little chocolate melted (chips or bark, whatever you have on hand)
~In a saucepan, heat sugar and Golden Eagle syrup over medium-high heat until it begins to boil, stirring constantly. Once it boils a minute or so, remove from heat and immediately add in the peanut butter. Stir until all is mixed well and it's creamy. Next, put the cornflakes in a large bowl. Now, pour over the peanut butter mixture and stir until all the cornflakes are coated. You can use a cookie scoop or your hands to make little mounds and place on wax paper. For chocolate and peanut butter lovers, we melt the chocolate in the microwave, 30 seconds-1 minute, until it's smooth and then I put it in a ziploc bag, snip off the corner slightly and squirt it over the top just a little. Enjoy!
