Strawberry Ooey-Gooey Cake

• 1 package strawberry cake mix
• 4 eggs
• 1/2 cup butter (softened)
• 1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar
• 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese (room temperature)
• 3/4 cup strawberries

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 pan. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, butter and 1 egg. Mix together well and then press into the bottom of the pan. (Tyner Beth loved that part!) In mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and 3 eggs and beat at medium speed until the mixture is smooth in texture. Add in powdered sugar, gradually, in small amounts. Continue mixing until smooth. Cut the strawberries into bite-size pieces and then stir them into the mixture. Pour over the cake mix. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool completely.
