Grandmother Douglas' Corn Pudding.....


Would you like some of the best comfort food ever?......make a dish of this & comfort will come. A favorite of everyone in the family. This recipe is about as tried and true as you can get. It comes from Temple's great-grandmother, Leila Hart Douglas. She lived to be over 100. A fine woman, with some delicious recipes.


  • 1 can cream corn

  • 1 can whole kernel corn

  • 3 eggs (well beaten)

  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

  • 3 Tbsp. flour

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 stick oleo


Melt oleo in casserole dish. Mix together corn, eggs, sugar, flour and milk. Pour corn mixture into casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
